The First One

You know, doing this sort of thing makes me feel incredibly nerdy. I guess it's just 'cause the only people I now that do it are incredibly nerdy. In a way it's like freeing my incredibly nerdy self to express its feeling in a controlled fashion. It needs an outlet, too. My regular nerdy self has an outlet everyday in my classroom, where I teach young people to play band instruments. I am constantly amazed at how much more nerdiness is present in some of my students than in myself; but that's the pot calling the kettle black for sure. Takes one to know one. I can only be grateful that my band kids are definitely band nerdy and not orchestra nerdy or choir nerdy. I could never understand the choir kids and their drama. Well, time to close before I dig myself into an endless pit.
